Nostalgia in America

I was definitely sure that I wouldn't return for Global Youth Leadership Summit 2009 but I did as alumni. I love how things work out unexpectedly.

This time, I flew unlike the last as an unaccompanied minor but as an adult though not quite there yet. I was seated next to two wonderful girls with whom I instantly clicked with on the flight there.

Somya, Gopika and I.

When I arrived in Los Angeles, I was excited and anxious at the same time to meet the ambassadors a la 2009.
I wondered if they'd like me.
I wondered if we'd gel or accommodate.
I wondered if they'll be fun or a challenge.
I wondered if...
oh shut up me.

I managed to make acquaintance with some of them on the way to San Diego and by the time we got to Howard Johnson and checked in,

it was dinner time.

so we filled up at Carls Jr.

For supper, we got ourselves Dreyer's and Ben&Jerry's ice cream.

We all happily yielded to cool temptations.

This is the part where Aliff grabbed the tub and shoveled the ice-cream into his mouth.
:S

Most of them dug in uninhibited by its latent power of magnification.

We had lots of fiber as antidote.

The next day was spent at Sea World.

My other siblings.

What I dread most but did nevertheless.

The Journey to Atlantis roller coaster ride.
A wet and wild ride.

The Dolphin Show

One of my all time favourite, Believe.
Shamu, we meet again.

Silhouettes of Bob and I.

I already know I'm hot and this proves it. :D

Someone said: That's one fishy middle finger raised.
Other thoughts weren't half as noble.

Starfish with an extra arm. A mutant!

The morning of day 3 was spent at La Jolla beach.
The view is breathtaking.

Hot guys?
Didn't spot any.

Hot girls?
Yea, I saw one.

See. So darn hot. [the one on the right, obviously]
PS: It's my blog. So let me have my moment okay? :P

Part of the bunch of us.

Li Shing and I.

Aliff and I.

Bryan and I.
