YES: Over and Out

Quick scan through YES because if I don't, I'd probably complete my degree before the completion of YES records.

Lesson 6: When you're caught in an almost impossible situation , remember two things:
  i. You're in it because God KNOWS you can overcome it.
ii. You're not alone, He NEVER abandons us. Take courage and grow with faith in Him.

Lesson 392: Be merciful...and mindful of the cut off point which is there to prevent destructive consequences.

When Ps. Lisa asked us to pass up our assignments...
YES student 1: PASTOR LISA, PLEEAAASSSEE!
YES student 2: HAVE MERCY ON US.
YES student 3: GOD SAID TO BE MERCIFUL!
YES student 4: EXTEND DEADLINE.
...and she did.  :D

YES student 5: Can we not pass up pleeeaaassseeee?
That was a definite no.

*GASP* YOU DON'T SEE LESSONS 7 - 391?
REALLY?
Darn, I guess you'll just have to go for YES and find out for yourself. :P

 Course :
 YES

Admissions :
There's only ONE intake in January. Students whom are done with highschool are encouraged to
GO FOR YES.

Scholarship :
Discussitwithyourpastorandchurch and negotiate for a yes. :D

Campus Life :
1. Most of the time, meals are provided.

 2. Mamak almost everyday [for meals they don't provide] UNLESS you can drive, you can afford delivery like Domino's or you can opt for costly, crummy clones of IPOH taugeh chicken rice.

3. On weekends, we meet and make MORE friends. :D

 4. There are various activities.
Example: Drama

Other activities may include:
Football
Basketball
Scissors Paper Stone
When nature chooses to shower you with blessing, you'll get a chance to walk in the rain.

Apart from that, Campus Life really depends on the batch of students.
But I GUARANTEE that you'll love your coursemates and wish YES was LONGER.

By the time you face the camera together with your certificate,

you'd be reluctant to say goodbye and part ways...
like I was.

YES: Whee! We.

Lesson 5: The Golden Rule;Teamwork

Lessons on the merit of working together were incorporated -be it directly or not- into the activities that we had throughout the whole camp.

Definition: A group of people working together to achieve a common goal.

There is no 'I' in teamwork, it is ALWAYS 'we'.
Not necessarily the elite, but even a motley crew could prove potent in unity.

In one of the first few days, we were told to build the tallest building with nothing but mere newspapers.

As time passed,

our building got taller...and taller...and taller...

and when time was up,

this is how TALL our building was.

Though we lost, we had teamwork and so, I'm EXCEEDINGLY proud of my group - Hakuna Matata.

Everyone was involved in the activity and there was great synergy, cooperation and encouragement, that's what mattered to us...though we lacked the mechanics.
Yes, we lost pathetically...but I think we made an awesome team.
I just LOOOVVVEEE my teammates. :)

YES: I Am

Lesson 4: I am _______.

I've gone through some soul searching and self reckoning, especially through the classes 'Spiritual Gifts' and 'DISC Personality Assessment'. The revelation of truth has been awesome.

This sentence has made an indelible impact in my life ...

I

am

fearfully

and

wonderfully

made.

Psalms 139 : 14

:)

Thank You God for such a splendiferous creation and upon this data I shall abound.
